SheAfrique is a vibrant, non-partisan platform dedicated to connecting, empowering, and elevating African women across the diaspora. Rooted in cultural pride, shared identity, and collective resilience, SheAfrique exists as a sanctuary where women of African descent can gather, grow, and thrive together.
Guided by the spirit of Empowering African Women. Uniting the Diaspora. Reclaiming Our Legacy, SheAfrique champions civic engagement, inclusive leadership, mentorship, and community transformation. Our work is built on the belief that every African woman carries a powerful story, a rich heritage, and an unbreakable legacy that deserves to be honored and amplified.
We provide pathways to personal and professional growth through access to leadership opportunities, business development, education, volunteerism, and grassroots service. Through storytelling and celebration of heritage, we reclaim African dignity while fostering a global sisterhood grounded in trust, reciprocity, curiosity, empowerment, and genuine connection.
SheAfrique was born from lived experiences of migration, resilience, and community organizing. Founded by Eta alongside co-founders Huda, Sara, and Habbiba, our journey began with a simple but powerful vision: to create a platform where Black African Canadian women can share their stories, support one another, and shape the future together.
